Our home is situated on a 300 acre dairy farm with lots of room for our dogs to run and play. We live in a house that was built by Brad's grandparents. We have been gradually renovating the house inside and out to accommodate us and our dogs since December 2011 when we got married and moved in.
One of our biggest priorities with having the dogs and puppies in our home is cleanliness. Puppies are bathed at least once a week, puppy pens are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily, and our home is kept as clean and tidy as the pictures below. Our yard is just as important to us as the interior of our home. We have a large deck and a pool, so every warm day is spent outdoors. We do have two outdoor dog runs but they are rarely used.
We are in the process of renovating our walk-out basement. Our plans include another nursery area for moms and newborn pups, a doggy wash station for muddy paws, and a larger space for puppies to play when the weather isn't so nice. Our basement is level with the backyard so it's extremely ideal for making the many trips outside each day for puppies to do their business.
